RS PRO Multiple Output Linear DC Power Supplies

From RS PRO, these multiple output linear dc power supplies have been manufactured to industry standards and are a fantastic solution for anyone who carries out a lot of electronics or other powered projects on your bench that requires a reliable source of power at different voltages. This series offers a high quality power supply with 2-4 independent output channels, 180W to 200W output, overload and reverse polarity protection as well as an output ON/OFF switch for safety. Being part of the IPS series, these entry level general purpose power supplies are recognised for their affordability. This range of DC linear power supplies feature a user friendly interface with four "3 digits" LED display, providing an excellent user experience. This range of bench power supplies from RS PRO feature tracking operation and auto series and parallel operation, as well as low ripple and noise ensuring clean and precise test and measurement of various equipment.

Features and Benefits:

  • Fan speed control circuit minimizes fan noise

  • Tracking mode switches built in to these units allow voltage/current to be output into parallel or series

  • Ripple and noise levels of < 2mVrms, 5Hz ∼ 1MHz

  • Max Operating temperature of +40 °C

  • Various types of output voltages available as part of this range (please review datasheet for further information)

Application

A bench power supply is a device used to provide power to electrical equipment at different variables, allowing you to test with precision. By using a bench power supply, you are able to provide power to a range of circuits and test them whilst they are being built. There are a wide range of power supply types available such as analogue, digital, linear and more. Linear digital power supplies are suitable for use in a variety of applications such as;

  • Education

  • Laboratories

  • Industry

How do linear power supplies work?

Linear power supplies drop the voltage from an AC (alternating current) line to a much lower voltage. This is achieved using a large transformer. Linear power supplies can be used anywhere that low ripple excellent regulation is required as well as needing excellent response and low electromagnetic emissions.

Why choose RS PRO?

RS PRO is our own brand of high-quality products whilst bringing you great value for money. Our wide range of products have been engineered to meet high industry standards, so you are ensured reliable and robust solutions.
