Standard Converters

These standard converters are reliable pneumatic fittings. This range has a 1/4 inch female port and includes mounting bracket and connector plug. There is minimal vibration from this converter and it also has the benefit of being sensitive to low pressures. Proportional converters have a glass reinforced nylon cover and nitrile diaphragms. This range of pneumatic pressure control proportional converters provide excellent pressure control providing oil free, dry air filtered to 5μm.

Integral volume booster gives flow rates up to 4·72 dm3/s, 10scfm
Response time typically 2 seconds (10-90%)
Low supply pressure sensitivity
1/4 inch female port connection
Supplied with DIN43650 connector plug

I/P & E/P Converters

I/P converters are electro-pneumatic instruments that will change pneumatic pressures in response to varying electrical current and voltage input signals. They have extensive application potential in both industrial and process systems, for control of cylinders, valves, valve positioners, relays, brakes and clutches. The converters can be mounted in control rooms or in the field, and have zero and span settings that are adjustable from the front face of the instrument. Failsafe converters are available which will cause the output pressure to fall to <15mbar (0.2 psig) in the event of power failure or loss of input signal.
