SKINTOP INOX SC Cable Glands

From Lapp, the Skintop INOX SC cable glands have a robust stainless steel construction, and offer a fantastic level of mechanical resistance and environmental protection in cable management.

The easy to install INOX SC gland has a smooth and compact design, which accommodates a wide clamping range. The gland also features a low resistance screen contact, and conductive flexible EMC contact, which offers a high degree of protection against interference signals.

Features and Benefits

• IP68
• EMC Protection
• Temperature Resistant
• Sea-water Resistant
• Good Chemical Resistance
• Suitable for Food and Beverage Environments

Applications

The INOX series of cable glands are suitable for environments where hygiene control is a concern, such as:

• Pharmaceutical Industry
• Food Industry
• Bottling Plants and Breweries

Their resistance to seawater also makes them suitable for offshore applications. They can also be used for EMC-compliant earthing of the copper braiding, or for cables with copper shaft sheath.

Environment

The glands are sealed to IP68, which means they are highly resistant to dust ingress and resistant to water even up to shallow submersion. This means they are suitable for use in harsh environments and some open air applications.

Standards

DIN EN ISO 14 159, DIN EN 1672-2, RoHS, CE
