Ölflex Classic 100
ÖLFLEX® Classic 100 cables are a connecting and control cable for flexible use and fixed installation for medium mechanical load.
ÖLFLEX® Classic 100 cables are used as supply and interconnecting cable for controlling machine tools, production lines, control equipment on conveyors, and are also used in computer units. They are suitable for use when freely moved without forced guidance and tensile stress.
They may only be installed outdoors with UV protection and in observation of their operating temperature range. At room temperature the cable is generally resistant against, acids, caustic solutions and certain oils.
Features and Benefits
Chemical Resistance
Flame retardant: in accordance to IEC 60 332.1 resp. VDE 0482 part 332-2-1
Design: in accordance to HD 21.13S1 that is VDE 0281-13
Minimum bending radius: flexible use 15 x cable diameter, fixed installation 4 x cable diameter
Tests: in accordance to IEC 60 811 resp. VDE 0472 and VDE 0473
Operating Temperature for flexible use -5 up to +70°C
Operating Temperature for fixed installation -40 up to +80°C
Applications
ÖLFLEX® Classic 100 cables can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms, and their resistance to oil and chemicals makes them suitable for specialist environments. As such, they have a wide range of applications, and can often be found in;
Plant and Engineering
HVAC Systems
Power Stations
Their torsion resistance also makes them suitable for torsional applications such as the loop in wind turbine generators.
