IP54 Diecast Enclosures
The Hammond 1590 series is a rugged diecast aluminium alloy enclosure suitable for electronic instruments which is tough, yet easy to machine. It has a lap joint construction which provides IP54 protection against dust and splashing water and also provides improved EMI/RFI shielding. The enclosure, also known as a Stomp Box, is available in a rectangular, trapezoidal or octagonal design.

• Vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges
• Four or six, depending on size of enclosure, 6-32 x 1/2 in. stainless steel machine screws secure lid into factory tapped holes
• Low side wall draft angle (2° or less) for easy PC board mounting
