The switch is activated by applying pressure on the pedal. It supplies power only when you press the pedal and stops when you remove your foot, giving you greater control. There's minimal risk of electric shock, as the contacts are galvanically separated. The part is also touch-proof and protected against objects larger than 12 mm, thanks to its IP20 rating.
This product complies with American (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and British (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) standards for electrostatic discharge (ESD). This means the risk of harmful discharge is minimised. It also has a number of international safety certifications to guarantee safety.
