Digital MEMS Microphone - INMP621, InvenSense
The INMP621 bottom port MEMS microphone has high pressure level (SPL) 133 dB, low power consumption along with a PDM digital output. The omnidirectional microphone incorporates a MEMS element, impedance converter and a fourth order modulator all in one compact package. The digital PDM output allows two microphones to be interfaced on a single data line.
The InvenSense INMP621 provides an easy upgrade path due to its pin compatibility with the INMP521 microphone. This device has many features such as wide range frequency response alongside sleep mode which will permit a longer battery life for portable applications. Also Ideal for tablet, digital still and video cameras, Bluetooth headset, microphone arrays and security and surveillance applications.
