FLIR E53 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera
The FLIR E53 is a rugged, easy to use pistol grip thermal imaging camera which is the simplest model in FLIRS range of EXX series of advanced thermal image cameras. The infrared camera features a combination of high-resolution infrared detectors; vast temperature range and the ability to detect small temperature differences. Ideally suited to locating electrical and/or mechanical faults in equipment The E53 can help identify overheated circuits, hot and cold zones, condensation, moisture damage and much more. This thermal camera has an infrared resolution of 240 x 180 pixels and a temperature range of -20°C to +650°C. Further to this, its 24° lens ensures that this thermal camera is able to detect temperature differences as slight as 0.04°C.
Features and Benefits
- Infrared detectors have a resolution of 240 x 180 pixels
- Vibrant LCD display with 43 200 pixels
- Fast-response touch screen
- offers 3 spotmeters and displays the max/min temperature within an area live, on-screen
- Temperature range: -20°C to +650°C with optional calibrations.
- 24° lens detects temperature differences as low as 0.04°C

Frequently asked questions
Q: What is FLIR MSX Technology?
A; FLIR MSX Technology adds key details from the visible light camera to the entire infrared image that is in real-time so you capture both visible light features and a thermal picture that helps you identify where the problem heat pattern is.
O: What is a Thermogram?
A: A thermogram is a thermal image. An object that is above zero in temperature will emit infrared radiation which is not visible to the human eye, the thermal camera will detect this and convert it into an image.
