HV9930DB1 Supertex 350mA LED Driver IC Evaluation Board
The HV9930DB1 from Supertex Inc. (a subsidiary of Microchip Technology) is an LED driver IC evaluation board capable of driving up to 7 one-watt LEDs in series from an automotive input of 9 – 16 VDC. Featured on-board is the HV9930 in a boost-buck topology. The converter operates at frequencies in excess of 300 kHz and has excellent output current regulation over the input voltage range. The board can withstand transients up to 42 V and is protected against open LED and output short circuit conditions. Protection against reverse polarity up to 20 V is also included.
