RS Pro Aluminium Brush Strip
From RS Pro a high-quality brush strip or brush seal which is a type of draught excluder designed to seal the gap between the bottom of a door and the floor to prevent draughts and keep in heat. As well as draught proofing, this brush strip also helps prevent dust and debris like leaves and litter from entering the threshold of a building or factory from outside. The brush strip consists of an aluminium carrier with a 180° mounting angle containing a brush made up of a row of black nylon bristles. The strip can be cut to size to provide an accurate fit to any door

How Do I Fit a Brush Strip?
These brush strips are easy to fit, simply measure the width of the closed door, then, with a hacksaw or cutters cut the aluminium brush strip to size. Position the strip up against the bottom of the door and screw into position. The brush bristles have to overhang the bottom of the door so they meet the floor surface and totally seal the gap
