Cree LED Heatsinks

Cree’s LM heatsinks allow for thermal management for the LM LED modules. In order to reach lifetime and performance estimates with the LM LED modules, the Tc location on a final fixture cannot exceed 70°C (75°C for LMR2 modules at 750 lumens). This maximum temperature is for the light source or power supply when the luminaire is at thermal equilibrium. The LM heatsinks can be used with the LED modules in order to ensure the heat is dissipated, preventing any overheating.
