Product details
Alpha Wire ThermoThin 600 V Hook-up Wire
Alpha Wires ultra-thin flexible ThermoThin hook-up wire is an alternative to PTFE wire, can withstand high temperatures and has been designed to be lightweight and space saving.
The ThermoThin wire range is available in conductor sizes from 36 AWG to 16 AWG. This wire has an exceptionally wide temperature range of -150°C to +300°C. ThermoThin wires ECA fluoropolymer insulation contributes to the cables smaller size while providing excellent dielectric properties, as well as outstanding chemical resistance.
Features and Benefits
Ultra-thin, small and lightweight
Nickel-plated copper conductor wiring
Heat resistant ECA fluoropolymer insulation
Excellent electrical performance
Temperature rating: -150°C to +300°C
Voltage Rating: 600 V
UV, Chemical and water resistant
Choice of sleeving colours
Excellent abrasion resistance
Available in continuous lengths
What is a fluoropolymer?
Fluoropolymers consist of carbon-fluorine bonds and are not bonded easily with other materials due to it being electrically negative. They are resistant to extreme heat, solvents and acids.
Product Application Information
ThermoThin high-temperature wire is suited for use in high-temperature applications within many industries including oil and gas, semiconductor, energy generation, and military applications where space is at a premium and extreme temperatures must be withstood.
Approvals
UL AWM 11540 UL 80°C Oil UL Gas Res Horizontal flame
