Range Overview
Solistrand - Uninsulated Terminals & Kits
Solistrand
The Solistrand range of terminals and splices are designed for solid, stranded or irregular shaped copper conductors and meet the requirements of BS4G178.
Terminals are constructed of highly conductive annealed copper and have a brazed seam wire barrel. The terminals are electro tin plated with a serrated or dimpled surface to increase conductivity and provide extra tensile strength.
Wire sizes/terminals below 6·7mm² should be terminated with the AMP Certi-Lok tool 817-325 with the appropriate die set. All other sizes (6·7-60·5mm) being terminated with the Rota-Crimp tool 373-459. These tools must be used for Approvals to be valid. Solistrand kit 414-6655 also available.
