Overview
Tri-Rated Switchgear Cable
A plain copper stranded conductor covered with a PVC sheath.,These cables are manufactured to the following national standards, BS6231 (UK), CSA TEW (Canada) and UL style 1015, 1028 or 1283 according to cable size (USA); they are marked accordingly. The advantage of using this type of cable is that it allows many different approvals to be met from a single cable type, thereby simplifying purchasing, stockholding, and production. Reel length 100m.
| Technical specification | | Voltage ratings: | Between conductors and earth 600V, between conductors 1000V | | Current rating: | for single conductor in free air with an ambient temperature and conductor temperature rise of 35°C | | Maximum operating temperature: | + 105°C intermittent, 90°C Continuous - Europe, 105°C Continuous - USA + Canada |

Note
The number of strands used in the construction of the conductors may vary. The figures quoted are nominal. Cables marginally exceed maximum diameter in BS6231 to meet UL/CSA.
