Product details

Evaluation Board for HMC8200, Intermediate Frequency Transmitter 800MHz to 4000MHz

The Evaluation Board for the HMC8200LP5ME transmitter converts the 300 MHz to 400 MHz Intermediate Frequency (IF) input signals to 800 MHz to 4000 MHz Radio Frequency. The single-ended input utilises an input Digital Gain Amplifier (DGA) which is controlled via the SPI bus.
Featuring integrated power detectors to monitor input/mixer/output power levels, the HMC8200LP5ME provides 35 dB of digital gain control in 1 dB steps. An analogue Voltage Gain Amplifier (VGA) continuously controls the transmitter output power.

High linearity to support 1024 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM)
Transmitter IF from 200 MHz to 700 MHz
Transmitter RF Output from 800 MHz to 4000 MHz
Transmitter power control of 25 dB
SPI controlled interface
